The Dragino RS485W-LS-M12 RS485 to LoRaWAN® Converter is a solar-powered industrial-grade interface that enables seamless integration of RS485 and UART sensors into long-range LoRaWAN® networks. Designed for outdoor and factory environments, this IP67-rated converter features a rugged M12 waterproof connector for secure and vibration-resistant installations in harsh field conditions.

The RS485W-LS-M12 allows users to connect Modbus RS485 devices, 3.3V/5V UART sensors, interrupt devices, I2C modules, and one-wire sensors. It periodically sends user-defined commands to connected RS485 devices, processes returned data using flexible rule configuration, and transmits optimized payloads to LoRaWAN® gateways and IoT servers.

Operating on LoRaWAN® 1.0.3 Class A protocol and supporting IN865 (India) along with multiple global frequency bands, this device ensures ultra-long-range communication with low power consumption. The LS variant includes a built-in solar panel with a 3000mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery, enabling long-term, maintenance-free deployments in remote industrial and infrastructure applications.
