The Dragino RS485W-LS-M12 RS485 to LoRaWAN® Converter is a solar-powered industrial RS485/UART to LoRaWAN® interface designed for integrating Modbus and serial sensors into long-range LoRaWAN® IoT networks. Built with an IP67 waterproof enclosure and rugged M12 industrial connector, it is ideal for outdoor and harsh industrial environments across India.

This converter allows users to connect RS485, 3.3V/5V UART, interrupt, I2C, and one-wire sensors and periodically transmit data to LoRaWAN® gateways and IoT platforms. It supports LoRaWAN® 1.0.3 Class A protocol and is fully compatible with the IN865 band for Indian deployments, along with multiple global frequency bands.

The RS485W-LS-M12 variant features a solar panel with 3000mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery, ensuring long-term maintenance-free operation in remote field installations. With ultra-low sleep current (5uA) and controllable 3.3V/5V outputs for external sensors, it optimizes total system power consumption.
