The Dragino MDS200-LB LoRaWAN® Microwave Radar Sensor is a long-range industrial distance measurement device designed for reliable performance in harsh outdoor and industrial environments. Using 24GHz FMCW microwave radar technology, the MDS200-LB delivers accurate and stable measurements even in condensation, humid, and dusty environments. Unlike ultrasonic or LiDAR sensors, microwave radar technology ensures consistent performance even when water droplets or thick dust accumulate on the sensor surface.

A key advantage of the MDS200-LB is its dual-distance detection capability. It can measure the closest object and the next object behind it, making it ideal for layered detection scenarios such as tank level monitoring and parking management systems.

The configurable alarm feature allows the sensor to automatically switch to shorter uplink intervals when measured distance exceeds predefined thresholds, enabling near real-time alerts in critical applications.

Powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCl₂ battery, the MDS200-LB is designed for up to 5 years of maintenance-free operation in low-power LoRaWAN® deployments.
