The Dragino LPS8N is an open-source LoRaWAN® gateway that bridges LoRa wireless networks to IP networks via WiFi or Ethernet, enabling long-range, low-power communication for IoT devices. It uses the Semtech packet forwarder and is fully compliant with the LoRaWAN protocol. Equipped with an SX1302/03 LoRa concentrator, the LPS8N delivers 10 programmable parallel demodulation paths, providing high-capacity and reliable LoRaWAN uplink/downlink performance.
The gateway comes with pre-configured LoRaWAN regional frequency bands, which users can customize as needed. An optional cellular version (3G/4G) is also available for installations requiring mobile network backhaul. With an OpenWrt-based system, users can manage the device via Web GUI or SSH, and remote access is supported via Remote.it.
