The Dragino LPS8N-EC25 is an open-source indoor LoRaWAN® gateway designed to bridge LoRa wireless networks to IP networks via WiFi, Ethernet, or Cellular (3G/4G LTE). It provides long-range, low-power communication and is fully compatible with the LoRaWAN protocol through Semtech UDP Packet Forwarder and LoRaWAN Station modes.
Equipped with the SX1302 LoRaWAN concentrator, the LPS8N-EC25 supports 10 parallel demodulation paths, enabling high-capacity message handling. The gateway comes with pre-configured regional frequency bands, which can be modified for custom private LoRa networks.
Additionally, the LPS8N-EC25 can communicate directly with ABP LoRaWAN end nodes without requiring a LoRaWAN server, making it ideal for private IoT deployments. With an OpenWrt platform, Remote.it remote management, and web-based configuration, the gateway is highly flexible and easy to maintain.
