The Dragino WSS-22 is an integrated RS485 wind speed and wind direction sensor designed for weather station and environmental monitoring systems. It measures wind speed from 0 to 60 m/s and wind direction from 0° to 360°, with a low starting wind speed of ≤0.3 m/s for reliable monitoring across changing wind conditions.

Built with a corrosion-resistant polycarbonate enclosure and smooth internal bearing system, the WSS-22 is designed for stable long-term field operation. It communicates through RS485 and can be connected to the Dragino WSC2-L LoRaWAN Weather Station Controller, which reads the sensor data and transmits it to an IoT platform over LoRaWAN. When used with WSC2-L, the default communication baud rate is 4800 bps.
