Dragino RS485-LS-M12 is a solar-powered waterproof RS485/UART to LoRaWAN® Converter designed to connect RS485, Modbus and UART sensors to long-range LoRaWAN networks for remote IoT monitoring. It supports multiple RS485 devices through configurable communication rules, Modbus protocol, 3.3V/5V UART sensors and controllable sensor-power outputs for flexible field integration. The RS485-LS supports LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A communication, Bluetooth 5.1 configuration, LoRaWAN remote configuration and wireless OTA firmware updates. This variant uses an M12 waterproof cable entry, while the converter features an IP67 enclosure and is powered by a solar panel with a 3000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery. With IN865 frequency support available, it is suitable for industrial automation, smart metering, agriculture and outdoor monitoring deployments in India.
