Dragino RS485W-LB-M12 is a waterproof RS485/UART to LoRaWAN® Converter designed to connect RS485, Modbus and UART sensors to long-range LoRaWAN networks for remote IoT monitoring. The RS485W-LB derivative adds a controllable 12V sensor-power output while retaining the standard RS485-LB interfaces and functionality, making it suitable for external sensors that require 12V power, including compatible water-quality sensors. It supports LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A communication, multiple RS485 devices through configurable rules, Modbus protocol, 3.3V/5V UART sensors, Bluetooth configuration and wireless OTA firmware updates. This M12 version uses an M12 waterproof cable entry, while the device has an IP67 enclosure and an 8500mAh Li-SOCl2 battery. With IN865 frequency support available, it is suitable for industrial, environmental and field-monitoring deployments in India.
