Dragino MDS200-LS is an EOL solar-powered LoRaWAN® microwave radar distance sensor designed for remote distance, level and object detection applications. It uses 24 GHz FMCW microwave radar technology to measure distances from 0.5 m to 20 m with ±0.1 m accuracy and 0.01 m resolution, while supporting reliable sensing in environments affected by condensation, water or heavy dust. The MDS200-LS supports LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A communication, configurable distance alarms, Bluetooth 5.1 configuration, LoRaWAN remote configuration and wireless OTA firmware updates. Powered by a solar panel with a 3000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery and available with IN865 frequency support, it has been used for liquid-level monitoring, parking management, object presence detection, smart waste monitoring, sewer applications and industrial automation. Dragino currently lists the MDS200-LB/LS series as End of Life.

The MDS200-LB uses an 8500mAh Li-SOCl₂ battery, while the MDS200-LS includes a solar panel with a 3000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery for maintenance-free outdoor operation.
