Dragino RS485W-LS-M12 is a solar-powered waterproof RS485/UART to LoRaWAN® Converter designed to connect RS485, Modbus and UART sensors to long-range LoRaWAN networks for remote IoT monitoring. The RS485W-LS variant adds a controllable 12V output for powering compatible external sensors while retaining the standard RS485-LS communication and configuration functions. It supports multiple RS485 devices through configurable rules, Modbus protocol, 3.3V/5V UART sensors, interrupt uplinks, Bluetooth 5.1 configuration, LoRaWAN remote configuration and wireless OTA firmware updates. This M12 version uses a waterproof M12 cable entry and is powered by a solar panel with a 3000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery. With LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A communication and IN865 frequency support, it is suitable for industrial, environmental and outdoor sensor-monitoring deployments in India.
