Dragino MS48-LR is an open-source LoRaWAN® to Modbus Gateway designed to connect LoRaWAN sensor networks with Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP systems used in PLC and industrial automation applications. It includes a built-in ChirpStack LoRaWAN server and Node-RED application server, allowing LoRaWAN sensor data to be decoded, mapped to Modbus registers and accessed by PLCs or other Modbus devices. The MS48-LR supports RS485 and RS232 interfaces, Ethernet and WiFi connectivity, remote management, auto-provisioning and configurable LoRaWAN regional parameters. With an IN865 frequency option available, it is suitable for industrial IoT, smart metering, smart buildings, agriculture and factory automation deployments in India.
