Dragino LDS12-LS is a solar-powered LoRaWAN® LiDAR ToF distance sensor designed for long-range object detection, distance measurement and remote monitoring applications. It uses laser-based Time-of-Flight sensing to measure distances from 0.1 m to 12 m, with accuracy of ±5 cm from 0.1–5 m and ±1% from 5–12 m, along with a narrow 3.6° field of view for focused detection. The LDS12-LS supports LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A communication, Bluetooth 5.1 configuration, LoRaWAN remote configuration and wireless OTA firmware updates. Powered by a solar panel with a 3000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery and featuring an IP65-rated probe, it is suitable for parking systems, object presence detection, smart waste management, sewer monitoring, industrial automation and infrastructure monitoring deployments in India, with IN865 frequency support available.
